AbbVie Pharmaceuticals

Role:

Sr. Interactive Designer

The Latisse Aesthetics website underwent a refresh to revamp its branding, modernize its digital presence, and enhance information flow for users. This initiative improved navigation, making it easier for visitors to quickly find product information, understand benefits, and locate providers. The refresh also incorporated fresh visual branding and enhanced mobile responsiveness, ultimately leading to increased engagement and a stronger brand image.

Challenges:

A significant challenge of the project was striking a balance between visual allure and the substantial amount of informational content. The project demanded creative solutions to present dense textual information engagingly, moving beyond a simple and clinical "wall of text."

Solutions:

Working closely with Creative Director Ruba Tedros, the project successfully implemented a refined set of design standards that unified the visual language and enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the content. This process also necessitated continuous communication with a cross-functional team, ensuring all stakeholders provided timely approvals and strategic direction, ultimately leading to a cohesive and visually compelling website that met the project's goals.

Video Art Direction

A pivotal decision for the website refresh was to implement a dynamic video reel as the hero section. This choice was driven by the desire to immediately captivate visitors with fashion magazine-style visuals, leveraging motion and aesthetic appeal to tell the brand's story in an immersive way. My role as Senior Designer involved providing creative direction, as well as gathering inspiration, sourcing assets, and storyboarding.
